Furniture Delivery & Pickup — West Melbourne
If you live in Melbourne’s western suburbs, you are closer to our furniture than almost anyone else in the city. Most of our range ships from a warehouse in Truganina, which means free collection is genuinely practical here rather than a technicality.
Collection is the west’s advantage
Collection is free on every order. For customers in Point Cook, Werribee, Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Truganina, Laverton, Altona, Williamstown, Deer Park, Caroline Springs or Melton, that is often a short trip rather than a cross-city expedition — and it saves the delivery fee entirely.
Two things to be clear about. It is a working warehouse, not a showroom and not a second Art Design Gallery branch: you cannot browse the range there, and you cannot arrive unannounced. Collection is strictly by arrangement, and you must wait for our confirmation of a day and time window before travelling.
When you do come, bring a vehicle sized for the boxed item — boxed dimensions are listed on every product page and are always larger than the assembled piece — and bring a second person for anything bigger than a chair. Our team will help load, but cannot secure a load inside your vehicle.
Delivery, if collecting is not practical
We deliver right across the western suburbs. Warehouse Direct furniture is a flat $190 per order to anywhere in metropolitan Melbourne, no matter how many items are on it; our own stock is charged by item size. Worth knowing: a handful of outer-western postcodes fall outside our metropolitan delivery zone. If yours is one of them the checkout will show collection only — that is not an error, and free collection nearby usually makes it a non-issue. Call us if you would like help working out the best option.
Seeing pieces in person
Our showroom is in Clyde North, in Melbourne’s south-east, which is the honest trade-off of buying this way: the collection point is close, the showroom is not. If you want to see something before committing, call 0468 333 267 and we will talk you through finish, scale and fabric properly, and send additional photographs of the actual piece where we can.
Popular in the west
Because collection is easy here, larger items are the ones customers most often take themselves — dining tables, sideboards and buffets, TV units and sofas. Smaller pieces like side tables, vases and ornaments and wall art travel easily in a normal car boot.
How to order
Everything on the site is available to every Melbourne suburb we deliver to — add what you want to the cart and enter your postcode at checkout to see your delivery options and cost before you pay. If a piece you want is showing more units on backorder than in stock, the product page tells you the estimated dispatch date before you commit.
