Dining Tables

A dining table is usually the largest single piece of furniture anyone buys, and the one most often bought at the wrong size. Our range spans compact 1.2m tables for apartments through to 2.4m pieces built for a full family gathering, in solid and engineered timbers, stone and tempered glass, with extendable options where the room has to do two jobs.
Before you choose, measure the room rather than the old table. Allow around 90cm of clear space on every side for chairs to pull out and someone to walk behind them, and roughly 60cm of table edge per person seated. Every product page lists assembled dimensions, boxed dimensions, materials and seating capacity, because those numbers decide whether a table works far more reliably than a photograph does.
Pair a table with dining chairs or benches, and if the room needs storage as well, a sideboard or buffet in a matching finish.
Getting one home. Dining tables are heavy, and the box is always bigger than the table. Delivery is a flat $190 per order anywhere in metropolitan Melbourne, however many pieces are on it — so a table, six chairs and a sideboard together cost the same to deliver as the table alone. Free collection is also available by arrangement.
