Furniture Delivery & Pickup — North Melbourne Suburbs
The northern suburbs sit furthest from both our Clyde North showroom and our Truganina collection point, so this is the part of Melbourne where delivery does most of the work — and where our flat delivery fee matters most.
Distance does not cost you more
Warehouse Direct furniture is a flat $190 per order anywhere in metropolitan Melbourne. Not per item, and not scaled by distance. A customer in Craigieburn pays the same delivery on the same order as a customer ten minutes from our showroom, and one order carrying a dining table, chairs and a sideboard is still $190. Our own stock is charged by item size instead — $190 large, $100 medium, $30 small — and mixed orders add the two together. The full breakdown is on the Pickup & Delivery page.
We deliver across the northern suburbs including Craigieburn, Epping, Mill Park, South Morang, Doreen, Mernda, Bundoora, Reservoir, Preston, Coburg, Brunswick, Thomastown, Broadmeadows and Greensborough. Enter your postcode at checkout to confirm what applies to your address before you pay.
Buying furniture you have not sat on
Being a long way from a showroom is a real disadvantage, and we would rather address it than pretend otherwise. Every product page carries full assembled dimensions, boxed dimensions, materials and weight capacity, because those are the numbers that decide whether a piece works in your room. Measure the space first, particularly the doorway and the stair turn.
If you are between two options, call 0468 333 267. We will tell you which one we would put in our own house and why, describe the finish honestly in daylight terms, and send extra photographs of the actual item where we can. That conversation costs nothing and saves returns.
Delivery is to the door
Deliveries are to your door or ground-floor entrance. We do not currently offer in-home placement, assembly, stair carries or packaging removal anywhere in Melbourne. For an upstairs apartment in Brunswick or a townhouse in Coburg, plan for someone to be there who can move the boxes the last few metres. Tell us before you order if that is going to be a problem and we will give you a straight answer about whether we can help.
Collecting from the north
Collection is free and remains available, but from the northern suburbs it means a trip to Truganina in the west or Clyde North in the south-east. For most northern customers that is a longer round trip than the flat delivery fee is worth — though if you are already heading that way it is a genuine saving, and we are happy to arrange it.
Furnishing in the north
The north spans established inner suburbs and newer estates, which pull in different directions: period homes in Preston and Coburg tend toward side tables, console tables and wall art that has to work with existing furniture, while newer builds in Craigieburn, Mernda and Doreen more often need whole rooms at once — sofas, dining tables and beds together.
How to order
Everything on the site is available to every Melbourne suburb we deliver to — add what you want to the cart and enter your postcode at checkout to see your delivery options and cost before you pay. If a piece you want is showing more units on backorder than in stock, the product page tells you the estimated dispatch date before you commit.
